Jack Schmitt Ford has a full time opening for a vehicle detailer/ porter position at our Collinsville, IL location. Schedule will be approximately 30 hours weekly and the position does have room for advancement or growth in the company as we do promote from within.

The porter position is a key position for us. We rely on our porters to provide a great delivery experience when clients purchase a new or pre-owned vehicle from us. It is important that the vehicle is standing tall and prepared in a timely manner. Our porters also often perform other tasks including but not limited to transporting vehicles, shuttling customers, merchandising our lot for a strong visual impact, and taking care of our building and lot.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys working around cars. You will also interact with customers so it is important that you are punctual, dependable, neat, and friendly.

Experience in these areas is preferred but not required.

Jack Schmitt Ford of Collinsville, IL is currently interviewing and hiring for the role of product specialists/ sales greeter (salesperson in training).

Our business is growing and we need to cultivate the FUTURE of our dealership!

Product Specialist's role includes the presentation and demonstration of all of our new Ford and pre-owned inventory products to clients, scheduling appointments with clients over the phone, and handling internet inquiries from clients in our Customer Care Center. It also includes the initial greeting at our showroom and getting the clients visit with us underway.

Retail sales experience is preferred for this position, but not required.

If selected to become a product specialist at Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln you will participate in a two week long training intensive at the dealership as well as receive certifications from Ford Motor Company and become certified during your training period.

You will demonstrate and present our products, go along on test drives and address client questions and concerns, and turn clients over to a sales professional to discuss financial aspects and ownership options if the client wishes to pursue those options.

You will receive continued training on presenting those financial options and learning how to handle deals on your own. Once your training is complete and you are certified you will become an Automotive Sales Professional.

For some product specialists that journey takes only a few months and for some it may take a year or more. We will advance graduates to sales positions when everyone agrees that they are ready.

Jack Schmitt Ford is looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This AR/AP administrator may have opportunities for continued growth into all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable and will report to the Office Manager and General Manager. We are looking for a fun, energetic, team player who has an interest in learning the entire operation.

Accounting Experience is Required

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Maintains Customer Satisfaction at or above company standards

*Reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit

*Reconcile and process daily credit card deposit

*Enter finalized cash receipts and update receivable ledger

*Research and process bad checks for collection

*Maintain sales tax exempt information

*Post accounts payable invoices

*Record and maintain all 1099 information

*Process 1099 year end forms and reports

*Prepare accounts payable checks in a timely manner

*Issue Purchase Orders to vendors as necessary

*Maintain adequate office supplies

*Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS

*Experience with CDK or Dealership DMS Accounting system is a plus

*Proven track record

*Strong record of positive Customer Satisfaction results

*Available to work flexible hoursif needed for audits and other occasions.

*Ability to communicate customers' interests needs and requests to management and sales personnel

*Team-oriented

*Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test

*Professional personal appearance

*Valid driver's license
